أطلقت القوات الخاصة للأمن البيئي بالتعاون مع هيئة تطوير محمية الملك عبدالعزيز الملكية بمنطقة الرياض مبادرة إصحاح بيئي للمحافظة على الغطاء النباتي في المحمية.
وتأتي المبادرة في إطار تعزيز جوانب المسؤولية الاجتماعية للقوات للمحافظة على البيئة ورفع مستوى الوعي البيئي لدى أفراد المجتمع، وتشجيع العمل التطوعي بمشاركة مجموعة من المتطوعين لتحسين جودة الحياة.
مما يذكر أن القوات الخاصة للأمن البيئي تنفذ وتشارك في العديد من الفعاليات والأنشطة بالتعاون مع الجهات البيئية، مثل المعارض ومبادرات التشجير وإطلاق الكائنات الفطرية والإصحاح البيئي للمتنزهات.
