علق هيكتور كوبر المدير الفني الأرجنتيني للمنتخب السوري على خروج نسور قاسيون من دور الستة عشر لكأس آسيا 2023 على يد المنتخب الإيراني بركلات الترجيح.
تعليق كوبر على توديع سوريا كأس آسياوقال كوبر في المؤتمر الصحفي عقب نهاية اللقاء: “بشكل عام راضي عن أداء اللاعبين وتضحياتهم وروحهم وفي النهاية غير سعيد بالنتيجة ولكني سعيد بأداء اللاعبين ومقدرش أطلب منهم أكثر من ذلك”.
وأضاف: “كنت أتمنى استغلال النقص العددي لإيران ولكن المنتخب الإيراني أغلق المساحات بشكل كبير فهو منتخب قوي والثاني في التصنيف على مستوى قارة آسيا ولكني سعيد بما وصلنا إليه”.
