المياه الوطنية: ضخ المياه المحلاة إلى 100 ألف مستفيد بالظهران

أعلنت شركة المياه الوطنية، ممثلة بقطاعها الشرقي عن بدء ضخ المياه المحلاة إلى أحياء الدوحة والدانة وجامعة الملك فهد للبترول والمعادن، وحيي الجامعة والسلمانية، وذلك عقب انتهائها من أعمال الربط، وضخ المياه المحلاة وتوزيعها من خزانات حي الجامعة بالظهران وذلك ضمن مشروع تحسين شبكات المياه في مدينة الدمام - مشروع رقم «5»، مبينة أن ذلك يعد أحد أهم المكتسبات السريعة لمشاريع برنامج تحسين جودة مياه الشرب بالمنطقة الشرقية.

وقالت الشركة: ”يأتي هذا المشروع ضمن جهودها المتواصلة لتنفيذ خططها الاستراتيجية لتهيئة البنى التحتية في كل من قطاعي المياه والخدمات البيئية، وانطلاقًا من مبادراتها لزيادة نسب التغطية، وتحسين الكفاءة التشغيلية، ولتلبية الطلب المتزايد على المياه نتيجة للتنمية الشاملة التي تعيشها المنطقة الشرقية وتعظيم الاستفادة من جميع المصادر المتاحة لتحقيق الاستدامة المائية“.
