مناقشة أهم مبادرات تعزيز الوعي بنظافة البيئة في المنطقة الشرقية

ناقشت أمانة المنطقة الشرقية، والجمعية السعودية للذوق العام، عدد من المبادرات التوعوية والتطوعية الجديدة في مجال الخدمة المجتمعية، ورفع مستوى الوعي بأهمية الحفاظ على نظافة المدن.
جاء ذلك خلال الاجتماع الذي عقد أمس الثلاثاء، في مقر أمانة المنطقة، بمشاركة وحضور فريق الجمعية وعدد من مدراء الإدارات المعنية بالأمانة.

واختتم الاجتماع بتأكيد المشاركون على رفع مستوى الوعي بأهمية الحفاظ على النظافة والتشجيع على المشاركة الفعّالة في المبادرات البيئية والاجتماعية المستقبلية.

ضمن إطار مبادرة السعودية الخضراء، ينافس فريق تربية الخير المكون من 4 طالبات من مدرسة التربية الأهلية بالخبر على جائزة الأميرة صيتة بنت عبدالعزيز "صيتاثون" ، التي تأتي ضمن خطط البرنامج الوطني لتعزيز المبادرات المجتمعية وبشعار "السعودية الخضراء"، الهادف إلى مكافحة التصحر، وتغيّر المناخ، ورفع مستوى جودة الحياة من خلال نشر ثقافة التشجير والاستدامة.
شهدت الفعالية زراعة العديد من الشتلات وسط أجواء حماسية، بهدف تنمية الغطاء النباتي والحد من آثار التصحر , جاء ذلك تزامنا مع موسم التشجير، وتعزيزًا لأهداف رؤية المملكة 2030 بزيادة نصيب الفرد من المسطحات الخضراء، وإشراك المتطوعين.
برنامج صيتاثون
ويشارك في البرنامج 1200 طالب وطالبة من المرحلة الثانوية، يتنافسون فيما بينهم لتقديم مبادرات وابتكارات نوعية تستهدف مبادرة "السعودية الخضراء" من خلال ١٢ مجالًا، بهدف تطوير مهارات التطوع وتخريج سفراء مبادرات مجتمعية على مستوى الوطن وتشجيع الجهات على تبنيها.
وبهذه المناسبة أكد الأمين العام لمؤسسة جائزة الأميرة صيته بنت عبدالعزيز للتميز في العمل الاجتماعي الدكتور فهد المغلوث أن "صيتاثون" تحظى باهتمام من وزارة التعليم بوصفها أحد مستهدفات اتفاقية التعاون المبرمة بين الوزارة والجائزة، التي تؤكد أهمية الشراكة بين القطاع الحكومي وغير الربحي في تعزيز القيم الوطنية، وبناء المهارات والقدرات لدى الطلاب والطالبات.
