تعاون بين "أرامكو الرقمية" و"إنتل" يهدف إلى إنشاء أول مركز لتطوير شبكات الوصول اللاسلكي المفتوحة في السعودية

أعلنت شركتا "أرامكو الرقمية" و"إنتل" اليوم، عزمهما إنشاء أول مركز لتطوير شبكات الوصول اللاسلكي المفتوحة (Open RNA) في المملكة العربية السعودية، يُتوقع أن يُسهم في دفع الابتكار، وتعزيز التقدم التقني، والإسهام في مشهد التحوّل الرقمي السعودي.

ويهدف التعاون بين الشركتين إلى تسريع تطوير وتطبيق تقنيات شبكة الوصول اللاسلكي المفتوح، مما يعزز جهود المملكة في إرساء بنية تحتية قوية ومرنة للاتصالات تركّز على تسريع التحوّل الرقمي عبر مختلف الصناعات. كما يسعى هذا التعاون لمواكبة رؤية السعودية 2030 التي تركّز على التقدم التقني والتنويع الاقتصادي.

وتسمح شبكات الوصول اللاسلكي المفتوح، وهي نموذج متطور في بنية الشبكة اللاسلكية، بمزيد من المرونة وقابلية التشغيل البيني والابتكار، وستقدم "أرامكو الرقمية" معرفة عميقة باحتياجات وطموحات المملكة التنموية، وفرص تطبيق تقنية شبكة الوصول اللاسلكي المفتوح، إلى جانب تقديم منظور فريد للمشهد الاقتصادي للمملكة، ومن جانبها ستقدم شركة إنتل، الرائدة في تقنيات الحوسبة والاتصالات، خبرتها في تقنيات شبكة الوصول اللاسلكي المفتوح.

وتشمل أبرز مجالات التعاون بين الشركتين:

مركز الابتكار: يهدف مركز تطوير شبكة الوصول اللاسلكي المفتوح لأن يكون محور ابتكار، وتعزيز التعاون بين مهندسي "أرامكو الرقمية" و"إنتل"، بالإضافة إلى الباحثين وخبراء الصناعة.

تطوير الكفاءات المحلية: يسعى المركز إلى الإسهام في تطوير الكفاءات المحلية من خلال توفير التدريب والخبرة العملية في مجال تقنية شبكة الوصول اللاسلكي المفتوح، وتقنية الحوسبة الطرفية التي تتطور بسرعة حيث يتم من خلالها تجميع البيانات ومعالجتها.

التأثير الاقتصادي: يهدف التعاون الى الإسهام في الاقتصاد المحلي من خلال المبادرات التي تعتمد على التقنية، بما يتماشى مع أهداف رؤية السعودية 2030.

التعاون العالمي: يُتوقع أن يمتد التعاون في شبكة الوصول اللاسلكي المفتوح بين "أرامكو الرقمية" و"إنتل" إلى ما هو أبعد، حيث سيربط المملكة العربية السعودية بالمشهد العالمي لتطوير وتطبيق شبكة الوصول اللاسلكي المفتوح والنفاذ والتوجيه الشبكي.

وبهذه المناسبة، قال الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة أرامكو الرقمية، طارق أمين: "هذا التعاون دليل على التزامنا بالمساعدة في قيادة الابتكار في المملكة. ويُتوقع أن يكون مركز تطوير شبكة الوصول اللاسلكي المفتوح حافزًا للتطور الرقمي عبر توفير منصة للتعاون وتنمية المهارات وإنشاء منظومة تقنية حيوية. كما أن هذا التعاون سيصب اهتمامه على إعداد كفاءات محلية بأعلى المستويات في مجال تقنيات الجيل الخامس المتقدمة، وتقنيات الجيل السادس المستقبلية".

وقال نائب الرئيس الأعلى لشركة إنتل والمدير العام لمجموعة الشبكات والحوسبة الطرفية، ساشين كاتي: "يسعدنا التعاون في شبكة الوصول اللاسلكي المفتوح مع شركة أرامكو الرقمية، والجمع بين البراعة التقنية لشركة إنتل في الشبكات والحوسبة الطرفية مع البرامج والرؤى المحلية والقيادة الصناعية لشركة أرامكو الرقمية. ونحن نهدف معًا إلى تسريع تطبيق حلول شبكة الوصول اللاسلكي المفتوح في المملكة العربية السعودية وخارجها".

ومن المخطط أن يبدأ مركز تطوير شبكة الوصول اللاسلكي المفتوح عملياته في 2024، مما يمثّل علامة فارقة في مسيرة المملكة العربية السعودية نحو مستقبل يعتمد على التقنية.
