وزير الصحة يناقش الاستراتيجية القومية لعلاج لسرطان الأطفال

عقد الدكتور خالد عبدالغفار وزير الصحة والسكان، اليوم الخميس اجتماعا، لمناقشة الاستراتيجية القومية لعلاج لسرطان الأطفال بالتعاون مع منظمة الصحة العالمية من خلال المبادرة العالمية لسرطان الأطفال GICC, ومستشفي سانت جود لبحوث الأطفال.
وقال الوزير إن السياسات المبنية على الدليل العلمي التي انتهجتها الدولة المصرية تضمنت التركيز على تعزيز البحث والتعاون في مجال سرطان الأطفال، من خلال إقامة شراكات مع مؤسسات دولية شهيرة لتبادل المعرفة والخبرة، مما يساهم في إتباع بروتوكولات العلاج المتطورة، والمشاركة في التجارب السريرية، وسرعة إدخال العلاجات المتطورة لمرضى سرطان الأطفال في مصر.
وأوضح الدكتور حسام عبدالغفار المتحدث الرسمي لوزارة الصحة والسكان، أن المبادرة العالمية لسرطان الأطفال GICC، تم إطلاقها في عام 2018، بالتعاون مع مستشفي سانت جود، وتستهدف علاج سرطان الأطفال، وارتفاع معدل الشفاء بنسبة 60٪ بحلول عام 2030، لافتا إلى ان مستشفي سانت جود أول مركز متعاون مع المنظمة بشأن سرطان الأطفال.
وأشار عبد الغفار، الى أن المبادرة العالمية لسرطان الاطفال تستهدف تقديم دعم كامل، والمساهمة في رفع معدلات الشفاء، ورفع المعاناة المادية والاجتماعية عن أسر المرضي، وتعمل علي تحسين إتاحة الأدوية الأساسية والتكنولوجيا اللازمة، بالإضافة إلى استدامة ورفع جودة الخدمات الطبية المقدمة.
ولفت عبد الغفار، إلي المنصة الإلكترونية والتي تتيح أدوية سرطان الأطفال والأبحاث العلمية، كجزءاً من خطة مستشفى سانت جود الاستراتيجية، والذي بعتبر أكبر استثمار للمؤسسة في مجال البحوث ورعاية المرضى.
وحضر الاجتماع الدكتور محمد لطيف رئيس المجلس الصحي المصري، والدكتورة مها ابراهيم رئيس أمانة المراكز الطبية المتخصصة، والدكتور حاتم عامر معاون وزير الصحة للعلاقات الدولية، والدكتورة راندا ابو النجا، مسئول الأمراض غير السارية والصحة النفسية بمنظمة الصحة العالمية بمكتب القاهرة، وعبر الفيديو كونفرانس، دكتورة نانسي بولس كبيرة الباحثين العلميين والمدرسين بمستشفى جود لأبحاث الأطفال، والدكتور سيما جيها مدير إقليم شرق المتوسط، لمستشفي سانت جود العالمية، والدكتور كارلوس رودريجيز مدير سانت جود العالمية.

فيما سيناقش مؤتمر الغدد الصماء والسكري آخر المستجدات، والتوصيات العلمية في تشخيص وعلاج أمراض الغدد الصماء وهشاشة العظام ومرض السكري بأنواعه، واضطرابات الوزن السمنه وارتفاع الكولسترول والدهون في الدم، وارتباطها بأمراض القلب والشرايين، بالإضافة إلى ورش عمل عن مضخات الأنسولين، وفحص السكري.
