بعدما لفت الأنظار إليه بشخصية صياد السمك شنهابي في مسلسل تحت الوصاية في رمضان، الممثل الصاعد أحمد عبد الحميد يقدم 3 أدوار جديدة مثيرة منها العبد.. وحامي خُط الصعيد.. وفتوة الموالد.
يقدم شخصية عبد في فيلم "أسد أسود"، الذي تدور أحداثه في عصر تجارة العبيد، وهي شخصيته جريئة وشجاعة .
- وفي فيلم" فرقة الموت" سوف يجسد شخصية "رمضان" أخو خط الصعيد الشهير، والذي سوف يشاركه في عمليات البلطجة والقتل.
- أما في فيلم "شمس الزناتي"، الذي تدور أحداثه في عصر الاحتلال الإنجليزي، سوف يلعب عبد الحميد شخصية "سيد سبرتو"، وهي الشخصية التي سبق وأن قدمها الفنان مصطفى متولي، ولكن عبد الحميد سوف يقدم الشخصية في المرحلة العمرية الأصغر.

من جانبها ذكرت مؤسسة الأمير محمد بن فهد للتنمية الإنسانية : أن المؤسسة حريصة على تهيئة البيئة المناسبة للرحلة العلاجية للأطفال محاربي مرض السرطان.
وأضافت : مبادرة برنامج "بسمة حياة" تعتبر من أهم المبادرات التي تقدم خدمات لهذه الفئة وأسرهم، كما أن البرنامج يندرج ضمن استراتيجية المؤسسة، ومبادراتها؛ بهدف رعاية مرضى السرطان من الأطفال من خلال طرح برامج وخدمات اجتماعية متكاملة، الرامية إلى تثقيفهم وتوعيتهم وتثقيف وتوعية أسرهم بتداعيات المرض وطرق مواجهته، بالإضافة إلى تنفيذ برامج ترفيهية مصاحبة.
يذكر أن برنامج "بسمة حياة" أحد برامج مؤسسة الأمير محمد بن فهد العالمية، انطلق عام 2017م ضمن مبادرات المؤسسة التي تهدف إلى تقديم خدمات اجتماعية مساندة لمرضى السرطان من الأطفال وأسرهم، ودعم البرامج والأنشطة التوعوية والوقائية، وقام البرنامج بتجهيز القاعات الترفيهية للأطفال المصابين بالأورام بعدد من بالمستشفيات بالدمام والرياض وجمهورية مصر العربية ، كما تعتزم المؤسسة التوسع في انشاء قاعات للأطفال مرضى السرطان في عدد من المستشفيات.
