أعلنت وكالة الأنباء الكويتية "كونا" عن وصول جثمان المغفور له بإذن الله تعالى أمير الكويت الراحل الشيخ نواف الأحمد الجابر الصباح إلى مسجد بلال بن رباح استعداداً لصلاة الجنازة بعد قليل .

أعلن الديوان الأميري الكويتي، وفاة أمير البلاد الشيخ نواف الأحمد الجابر الصباح، اليوم السبت 16ديسمبر 2023.

وقال وزير شؤون الديوان الأميري: ببالغ الحزن والأسى ننعى إلى الشعب الكويتي والأمتين العربية والإسلامية وشعوب العالم الصديقة المغفور له بإذن الله تعالى حضرة صاحب السمو أمير البلاد الشيخ نواف الأحمد الجابر الصباح الذي انتقل إلى جوار ربه اليوم السبت".

وأضاف: "ندعو الله عز وجل أن يتغمد الفقيد بواسع رحمته وأن يسكنه فسيح جناته ولا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله العلي العظيم وإنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون"
