النيابة العامة : السجن (سنة) وغرامة (100.000 ريال) لمواطن قام بمخالفة نظام مكافحة جرائم المعلوماتية

أنهت نيابة الجرائم المعلوماتية تحقيقاتها بتوجيه الاتهام لمواطن قام بمخالفة نظام جرائم مكافحة المعلوماتية.

وكشفت إجراءات التحقيق عن قيام المتهم بنشر شائعات عبر حسابه الشخصي في أحد برامج التواصل الاجتماعي؛ لتضليل الناس وإثارة الشكوك بمعلومات مغلوطة وغير دقيقة تشكك في فعالية وسلامة إحدى المستحضرات الطبية المعتمدة من الجهات المختصة.

وبإيقاف المتهم وإحالته إلى المحكمة المختصة، صدر بحقه حكم يقضي بإدانته بما نسب إليه، ومعاقبته بالسجن مدة (سنة)، وغرامة مالية قدرها (100،000) "مئة ألف ريال".

وأكدت النيابة العامة على أهمية الحفاظ على أمن وسلامة الفضاء المعلوماتي، وأن أي انتهاك له بممارسة سلوكيات آثمة من شأنها الجناية على المجتمع ونشر المعلومات المضللة، موجب للمساءلة الجزائية.
