مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر ينهي معاناة ستيني مع شلل في الحبال الصوتية وأورام بالحنجرة

نجح مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر في إنهاء معاناة مريض ستيني مع تبعات شلل في الحبل الصوتي الأيمن، وأورام سرطانية في الحنجرة، بعملية جراحية دقيقة استمرت "5" ساعات، ذكر ذلك الدكتور تركي المحيميد استشاري جراحة الأنف والأذن والحنجرة وأورام الرأس والعنق، رئيس الفريق الطبي المعالج.

الذي قال أن المريض راجع المستشفى وهو يشتكي من وجود بحة في الصوت منذ "8" أشهر، بالإضافة إلى الاختناق والسعال أثناء ابتلاع الطعام أو الشراب، والحاجة إلى أخذ أنفاس متكررة أثناء الحديث، مضيفاً أن الفريق الطبي أخضع المريض لحزمة من الفحوصات الطبية الدقيقة أبرزها المنظار الجراحي الذي أظهر وجود شلل في الحبل الصوتي الأيمن، بالإضافة إلى وجود أورام في الحنجرة، فأجريت له صور الأشعة المقطعية للرأس والرقبة، وبعد أخذ عينات من الأوارم وفحصها تبين أنها أورام سرطانية، فتم إخضاعه مجدداً للتصوير بالأشعة لكامل الجسم، وتمت مناقشة الحالة في اجتماع الأورام الذي ضم تخصصات جراحة وأطباء الأورام والعلاج الإشعاعي والأشعة والتحليل النسيجي.

واستطرد د.المحيميد مشيراً إلى أن الفريق الطبي وضع خطة علاجية متكاملة، تم إطلاع المريض عليها، وبعد تحضيره بالتعاون مع قسمي التخدير والقلب أخضع لعملية دقيقة، تمت فيها إزالة الحنجرة بالكامل مع تنظيف الرقبة من الجهتين، ومضت العملية وفق الخطة العلاجية، وانتهت ولله الحمد بنجاح متكامل، ونُقل المريض من غرفة العمليات إلى العناية المركزة، وبقى فيها تحت المراقبة الطبية لمدة "24" ساعة، قبل أن يتم تحويله إلى غرفة تنويم وظل بها لمدة "7" أيام تحسنت خلالها حالته مع العناية الطبية الحثيثة، ومن ثم غادر المستشفى وهو بصحة جيدة.

ووصف د.المحيميد العملية بأنها تعتبر من الحالات المتقدمة والمعقدة التي لا تجرى إلا في المستشفيات المتطورة في مجال التمريض والتخدير والجراحة.
