رئيس النواب.. خلال الاجتماع البرلماني الدولي: مملكة البحرين تواصل تنفيذ مبادراتها الحضارية لتعزيز الأمن البيئي

أكد معالي السيد أحمد بن سلمان المسلم رئيس مجلس النواب أن مملكة البحرين بقيادة حضرة صاحب الجلالة الملك حمد بن عيسى آل خليفة ملك البلاد المعظم حفظه الله ورعاه، ودعم ومتابعة صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير سلمان بن حمد آل خليفة ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء حفظه الله، تواصل تنفيذ مبادراتها الحضارية لتعزيز الأمن البيئي، وتؤكد على التزامها باتفاقية باريس، وبمتابعة ما أعلنت عنه في «قمة غلاسكو»، بشأن خفض الانبعاثات بنسبة 30% بحلول عام 2035، والوصول للحياد الكربوني في عام 2060.
وأشار إلى ما تضمنته الكلمة السامية التي تفضل بها حضرة صاحب جلالة الملك المعظم حفظه الله ورعاه، في قمة مؤتمر الأطراف (COP28)، بالإعلان عن خطة العمل الوطنية، لتحقيق الحياد الكربوني من خلال ثلاثة مسارات حيوية، بجانب تدشين استراتيجية وطنية للطاقة، وإطلاق صندوق لتكنولوجيا المناخ بقيمة 750 مليون دولار، بالإضافة إلى تأسيس منصة «صفاء» لتعويض الانبعاثات الكربونية، وتوجيه إيراداتها لتمويل مشاريع إقليمية ودولية تختص في ذلك، ودعوة المهتمين للقدوم إلى مملكة البحرين، التي تتميز بالبنية التحتية المتكاملة، والأنظمة عالية الاستجابة، والموارد البشرية الماهرة لتجربة حلول الطاقة وآفاقها، بجانب منظومة تشريعية بيئية، متطورة ومتقدمة.
جاء ذلك خلال كلمة لرئيس مجلس النواب في الجلسة رفيعة المستوى لرؤساء البرلمانات ضمن الاجتماع البرلماني الدولي، المنعقد يوم الأربعاء، بمناسبة الدورة 28 لمؤتمر الأمم المتحدة المعني بتغير بالمناخ، وبمشاركة معالي السيد علي بن صالح الصالح رئيس مجلس الشورى، ورؤساء وأعضاء وفود المجالس والبرلمانات الدولية، والمقام في إمارة دبي بدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة الشقيقة، وبتنظيم مشترك من الاتحاد البرلماني الدولي والمجلس الوطني الإتحادي الإماراتي.
وأوضح رئيس مجلس النواب خلال كلمته، أن الاجتماع البرلماني الدولي، والذي ينعقد لأول مرة، في المنطقة الخضراء لمؤتمر الأطراف، يهدف إلى تكثيف الجهود البرلمانية وتفعيل أدواتها بشأن تغير المناخ، والتعاون مع الجهات المعنية، من خلال منظومة تشريعية عصرية، وجهود برلمانية متعاظمة، وصولاً إلى عالم أكثر استدامة، ومستقبل أكثر أمانًا وازدهارًا للبشرية.
وأضاف، أنه ومع كامل تأييدنا لـ «إعلان كوب 28 بشأن المناخ والإغاثة والتعافي والسلام»، و»الوثيقة الختامية» للاجتماع البرلماني الدولي، فإننا نؤكد أن المساعي الحثيثة لتحقيق «الأمن البيئي»، بحاجة ضرورية إلى مواجهة تحديات «الأمن الإنساني»، في ظل ما يتعرض له الشعب الفلسطيني في قطاع غزة، من اعتداءات مستمرة، تطال الأبرياء من النساء والشيوخ والأطفال، مؤكدًا في هذا السياق، موقف مملكة البحرين الثابت في دعم القضية الفلسطينية، وحق الشعب الفلسطيني في إقامة دولته المستقلة، وفق حل الدولتين.
وأعرب عن خالص الشكر وعظيم التقدير لجهود دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة الشقيقة، ودورها الرائد والمتميز، بقيادة صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن زايد آل نهيان رئيس دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة حفظه الله ورعاه، في تحقيق الأهداف المناخية، والتعامل مع التحديات البيئية العالمية، ومشيدا بجهود معالي صقر غباش رئيس المجلس الوطني الإتحادي الإماراتي، على حسن التنظيم للاجتماع البرلماني الدولي.
