صدور إقرار التأشيرة السياحية الموحدة لدول مجلس التعاون الخليجي/عاجل

رفع معالي وزير السياحة الأستاذ أحمد بن عقيل الخطيب الشكر لخادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، وصاحب السمو الملكي الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء - حفظهما الله - بمناسبة إقرار المجلس الأعلى لدول مجلس التعاون الخليجي للتأشيرة السياحية الموحدة. جاء ذلك بعد إعلان المجلس الأعلى لدول مجلس التعاون الخليجي في البيان الختامي الصادر عن اجتماع قادة دول المجلس الذي عُقِد أمس في العاصمة القطرية الدوحة، عن ترحيبه بالجهود التي تقوم بها لجنة وزراء الداخلية حيال التأشيرة السياحية الموحدة، واعتماد ما تم التوصل إليه بهذا الشأن، ووجه المجلس بتفويض وزراء الداخلية باتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لتنفيذ التأشيرة السياحية الخليجية الموحدة.

وقال معالي وزير السياحة بهذه المناسبة: "يعد إقرار المجلس الأعلى لدول مجلس التعاون الخليجي للتأشيرة السياحية الموحدة، خطوة تاريخية تعكس التزامها بتعزيز التعاون وتعميق الروابط في مجال السياحة ومختلف المجالات فيما بينها، كما ستعزز مكانة دول الخليج كوجهة سياحية متميزة عالمياً"، مؤكداً أن إقرار هذه التأشيرة يتماشى مع التطور والنهضة التنموية التي تشهدها دول المجلس على مختلف الأصعدة، وسيكون لها الأثر الفعال في تعزيز الترابط والتكامل المنشود بين الدول. وأضاف " هذه التأشيرة ستسهم في تسهيل تنقل السياح والزوار الوافدين بين دول المجلس، وبالتالي تعزيز دور السياحة كمحرك للنمو الاقتصادي، وفتح فرص جديدة للاستثمار في القطاع السياحي في كل من الدول الأعضاء، مؤكداً في الوقت ذاته على حرص وزارة السياحة بالمملكة على التعاون الوثيق مع نظرائها في وزارات السياحة الخليجية لضمان تنفيذ وتنسيق هذه الخطوة بأفضل السبل وبما يخدم قطاعي السياحة والاقتصاد في المنطقة". ويأتي هذا القرار تكليلاً للجهود التي قادتها المملكة حينما اعتمد وزراء السياحة بدول مجلس التعاون الخليجي الإستراتيجية الخليجية للسياحة خلال اجتماعهم في العلا في شهر نوفمبر من العام الماضي، والتي كانت من أهم مخرجاته التأشيرة السياحية الخليجية الموحدة، حيث كانت المملكة قد عملت على قيادة الإطار التشريعي لذلك، بهدف تعزيز العمل الخليجي المشترك في مجال السياحة، ليؤكد هذا الإعلان على دور المملكة الرائد في إيجاد مبادرات نوعية تسهم في تعزيز مكانة دول المجلس كوجهة سياحية واحدة في المنطقة. // انتهى //11:58 ت م NNNN
