بناءً على توجيه خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود - حفظه الله -، واستجابة للدعوة الموجهة من صاحب السمو الشيخ / تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير دولة قطر، غادر - بحفظ الله ورعايته - صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير/ محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء - حفظه الله - اليوم الثلاثاء 21 / 5 / 1445هـ الموافق 5 / 12 / 2023م؛ لترؤس وفد المملكة في الدورة الـ(44) للمجلس الأعلى لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية التي ستعقد في دولة قطر، وسيقوم سموه الكريم بزيارة رسمية لدولة قطر يلتقي خلالها مع سمو أمير دولة قطر؛ لبحث القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك، وسبل تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية الأخوية، وعقد مجلس التنسيق السعودي - القطري.
