أقرت المملكة العربية السعودية، مساء الثلاثاء، الانضمام إلى معاهدة رابطة دول آسيا "آسيان".
جاء ذلك خلال اجتماع لمجلس الوزراء السعودي، ترأسه عاهل البلاد، الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وفق ما نقلته وكالة الأنباء السعودية.
ووفق المصدر ذاته، ترأس الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز "الجلسة التي عقدها مجلس الوزراء، اليوم، في قصر السلام بجدة (غربي المملكة)".
وناقش الاجتماع عدة ملفات وقضايا، بينها العلاقات مع فرنسا وروسيا، ونجاح تنظيم الحج.
وانتهى الاجتماع إلى عدة قرارات أبرزها "الموافقة على انضمام المملكة إلى معاهدة الصداقة والتعاون في جنوب شرق آسيا، وبروتوكولاتها".
يشار إلى أن "الصداقة والتعاون" هي معاهدة سلام بين الدول الأعضاء في رابطة "الآسيان"، وهي منظمة اقتصادية تضم 10 دول، هي: تايلاند، وإندونيسيا، والفلبين، وماليزيا، وسنغافورة، وبروناي، وكمبوديا، وميانمار، وفيتنام، ولاوس.
وتأسست رابطة دول آسيا في أغسطس/ آب 1967 في بانكوك بتايلاند.
وتضم هذه المعاهدة أكثر من 40 دولة شريكة مع دول الآسيان.
وسبق أن أقرت السعودية، في 29 مارس/آذار الماضي، الانضمام إلى منظمة شنغهاي للتعاون بصفة "شريك حوار" تمهيدا للعضوية الكاملة، في أحدث تقارب مع الصين آنذاك.
وتأسست منظمة شنغهاي المعنية بأمور عدة بينها الأمن الإقليمي والتنمية في 2001، عبر 6 دول أبرزها الصين وروسيا، وتغطي دول المنظمة 60% من منطقة آوراسيا، بعدد سكان يقدر بـ 3.2 مليارات، وبحجم اقتصادي يبلغ 20 تريليون دولار.

وقد حضر حفل التوقيع الاستاذ / هشام الجبر من شركة تدوير، بالإضافة إلى عدد من كبار التنفيذيين من لولو هايبرماركت، منهم المهندس / محمد بوبشيت(المدير التنفيذي ) ، الاستاذ / معز نور الدين (المدير الإقليمي، المنطقة الشرقية)،الاستاذ / زيد السبيعي (مدير الإدارة ) ، الاستاذ / سلام سليمان (المديرالإقليمي ) ، والاستاذ / عمرو محمد (المدير التجاري الإقليمي ).
تستمر لولو في التزامها بتعزيز المبادرات البيئية ودعم الحلول المبتكرة التي تساهم في خلق كوكب أكثر استدامة .
