اعلنت ورارة الخرجية عبر منصة اكس ان المملكة عضواً في مجلس المنظمة البحرية الدولية (IMO) للفترة 2024-2025 خلال اجتماعات جمعية المنظمة البحرية الدولية (IMO) دورتها الـ ( 33 ) بمدينة لندن

حيث تم إعادة انتخاب المملكة لعضوية مجلس المنظمة البحرية الدولية (IMO) للفترة (2024-2025م) تأسست 1959م عن المنظمة مقرها لندن عدد الأعضاء 175 دولة تعتبر أحد وكالات الأمم المتحدة المتخصصة والمسؤولة عن تعزيز النقل البحري الأمن والسليم بيئياً والفعال والمستدام من خلال التعاون بين الدول الأعضاء وتعد ذات سلطة تشريعية وقراراتها ملزمة لجميع الدول الأعضاء
