هنأ صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز أمير المنطقة الشرقية، إدارة ولاعبي نادي الخليج لكرة اليد، والجهازين الفني والإداري بمناسبة فوزهم بلقب بطولة آسيا ال26 للأندية التي أقيمت في الكويت، وذلك بعد تغلبه على نظيره العربي القطري في المباراة النهائية بنتيجة 35-33.

وأكد سموه أن هذا الإنجاز يضاف إلى سجل إنجازات الرياضة السعودية، ويعكس الدعم الكبير الذي تحظى به الرياضة من القيادة الرشيدة - أيدها الله -، كما يعكس مستوى الاحتراف والتميز الذي وصل إليه اللاعب السعودي في هذا المجال.
