تحالف تقوده شركة الجميح للطاقة والمياه يوقع اتفاقية شراء الطاقة لمشروعين نوعيين في الشرق الأوسط لإنتاج الطاقة النظيفة بسعة أجمالية تبلغ 3600 ميجاواط

أعلنت الشركة السعودية لشراء الطاقة "المشتري الرئيس" وشركة الجميح للطاقة والمياه التي تقود تحالفًا مكونًّا من شركة "إي دي إف" وشركة بحور للاستثمار عن توقيع اتفاقيات شراء للطاقة بتقنية الدورة المركبة للغاز (CCGT) وذلك لإنشاء وتشغيل مشروعيّ طيبة-2 والقصيم-2 لمدة 25 عامًا.

وسينتج هذان المشروعان طاقة إجمالية تبلغ 3600 ميجاواط بواقع 1800 ميجاواط لمشروع طيبة-2، وسعة 1800 ميجاواط لمشروع القصيم-2 بقيمة إجمالية تبلغ 14.6 مليار ريال سعودي، بما يسهم في توفير الطاقة النظيفة لما يقرب من 1.5 مليون وحدة سكنية سنويًا، تماشيًا مع مبادرة السعودية الخضراء الهادفة للوصول إلى الحياد الصفري بحلول عام 2060م.

وتعليقًا على هذا الإنجاز، قال الأستاذ إبراهيم الجميح، رئيس مجلس المديرين لشركة الجميح للطاقة والمياه: "في سعينا للوصول لمستقبل مستدام، نتشرف في شركة الجميح للطاقـــة والمـــياه بالتـــــعاون مــــع الشركة الســــعودية لــشراء الطاقــــة "المشتري الرئيس" في إطار توقيع هذه الاتفاقيات، بتحقيق رؤية المملكة العربية السعودية 2030 نحو تطوير بنية تحتية تساعد على خفض الانبعاثات الكربونية وتسهم في مبادرات المملكة نحو البيئة والطاقة المستدامة".

من جانبه، قال الأستاذ عبدالرحمن باجنيد، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة الجميح للطاقة والمـياه: "إن تأمين مشروعي طيبة-2 والقصيم-2 الأولين من نوعهما في المنطقة في إنتاج الطاقة النظيفة، يعزز من مكانتنا كشركة تنافسية رائدة في مجال الطاقة، حيث نسعى من خلالهما لتجسيد خبراتنا في السوق المحلية وقدراتنا الفنية العالية لتحقيق الأهداف المشتركة مع شركائنا، وتحقيق طموحاتنا المستقبلية لريادة السوق المحلي في صناعة الطاقة النظيفة".

وسيحتوي المشروعان على أحدث تقنيات توربينات الغاز من الطراز (H) ذات الكفاءة الفنية العالية في تشغيل الدورة المركبة، التي تسمح باستخدام تقنيات احتجاز الكربون وتشغيلها من قبل شركات سعودية، بما يتماشى مع أهداف الاستدامة للطاقة وتعزيز المحتوى المحلي بالمملكة.
