قررت جامعة الملك عبد العزيز، تحويل الدراسة الحضورية للطلاب والطالبات لتكون (عن بُعد) وإعادة جدولة الاختبارات المقررة ليوم غدٍ الأربعاء لوقت لاحق.
كما قررت الجامعة، تأجيل دوام الموظفين ليبدأ في تمام الساعة ٩ صباحاً مع تطبيق نظام الدوام المرن في مقر الجامعة بجدة وفرعها برابغ، وفق حساب الجامعة بمنصة «إكس».
وأضافت جامعة الملك عبد العزيز، أن ذلك جاء بناء على التقارير الواردة من المركز الوطني للأرصاد وحرصًا على سلامة الجميع.
