مصرع 31 شخصًا إثر فيضانات عارمة نتيجة أمطار غزيرة فى الصومال

لقى نحو 31 شخصًا مصرعهم جراء فيضانات عارمة ناجمة عن هطول أمطار غزيرة على أجزاء مختلفة من الصومال.
وقال وزير الإعلام الصومالى داود عويس فى تصريحات للصحفيين بالعاصمة /مقديشيو/ نقلتها شبكة "إيه بى سى نيوز" الإخبارية الأمريكية اليوم الأحد إنه منذ شهر أكتوبر الماضي، فإن الفيضانات تسببت فى نزوح نحو نصف مليون شخص وعرقلة حياة أكثر من 1.
وكان مكتب الأمم المتحدة لتنسيق الشؤون الإنسانية قد أصدر تقريرًا فى وقت سابق أفاد بأن حياة نحو 1.6 مليون شخص فى الصومال قد تتعرض للعرقلة إثر الفيضانات خلال الموسم الممطر الذى يستمر حتى شهر ديسمبر المقبل، فى ظل وجود احتمالية لتعرض مساحات كبيرة من الأراضى الزراعية للتدمير.
