محافظ جدة يشهد توقيع مذكرة تعاون لتأسيس مصانع للإنتاج المتقدم والابتكار

شهد صاحب السمو الأمير سعود بن عبدالله بن جلوي، محافظ جدة، بمقر المحافظة، اليوم , توقيع مذكرة تعاون مشتركة بين وزارة الصناعة والثروة المعدنية وجامعة الملك عبدالعزيز ممثلة في مركز الابتكار وريادة الأعمال، لتأسيس وبناء مصانع للإنتاج المتقدم والابتكار على أراضي الجامعة ضمن برنامج" رافد"، بحضور وكيل الوزارة للتطوير الصناعي المكلف والمشرف العام على وكالة التمكين الصناعي المهندس البدر بن عادل فودة، ورئيسة الجامعة المكلفة الدكتورة هناء بنت عبدالله النعيم.

وتهدف المذكرة إلى تأسيس وبناء مصانع للإنتاج المتقدم والابتكار على الأراضي التابعة للجامعة من خلال تفعيل برنامج (رافد)، وتدريب منسوبي الجامعة، وتحفيز البحث والتطوير والابتكار والاختراع، وتعزيز التعاون المشترك بين الطرفين لتحقيق التكامل وتوحيد الجهود، من أجل تأسيس وتطوير قدرات بشرية وطنية في مجال التصنيع المتقدم وتنمية الابتكار الصناعي.
وأكد المهندس البدر أن هذه المذكرة تأتي في إطار جهود الوزارة الهادفة إلى تعزيز تبني التقنيات الحديثة في القطاع الصناعي وفقًا لمستهدفات الإستراتيجية الوطنية للصناعة التي تسعى إلى خلق قطاع صناعي قائم على التقنية والابتكار، مبينًا أن رؤية المملكة 2030م أسهمت بشكل كبير في تمكين القطاع الصناعي خيارًا إستراتيجيًّا لتنويع القاعدة الاقتصادية للمملكة ورفع مساهمته في الناتج المحلي وإيجاد الوظائف وزيادة حجم الصادرات غير النفطية، التي تعد من أهم الركائز لتحقيق التنمية المستدامة.
وبينت رئيسة جامعة الملك عبدالعزيز المكلفة أن هذه المذكرة تهدف لتحفيز البحث والتطوير والابتكار والاختراع من خلال تفعيل برنامج " رافد" للتعاون مع الجهات ذات العلاقة بالجامعة، حيث يسعى الطرفان إلى التعاون في مجالات التصنيع والإنتاج المتقدم والابتكار الصناعي التي تعد ركائز أساسية للإسهام في تحقيق رؤية المملكة 2030.
