«شعبة الأدوية» تكشف موقف مصر من قرار الصحة العالمية باعتبار «الأسبارتام» مادة مسرطنة

علق الدكتور على عوف رئيس شعبة الأدوية بالغرفة التجارية، على اعتزام منظمة الصحة العالمية في منتصف يوليو، تحديد مادة «الأسبارتام» أحد أشهر المُحليات الصناعية في العالم، على أنها مادة مسرطنة محتملة.

وقال «عوف» خلال مداخلة ببرنامج «كلمة أخيرة» الذي تقدمه الإعلامية لميس الحديدي على شاشة ON: «مافيش إحصائيات لحجم استخدام المادة في مصر، لأنها مادة لاتباع في منتجات في الصيدليات فقط، لكن في مشتقات أكل وشرب مثل المشروبات والمأكولات منزوعة الدسم زيرو كالوري».
وأضاف: «في حال إقرار منظمة الصحة العالمية أن الأسبارتام مادة مسرطنة، فإن قرار منظمة الصحة العالمية فيها شبه إلزام تأكيدي، لأنها تتعلق بصحة وحياة الناس».
وبين أن حملة الوعي ضرورية في هذه المرحلة وحال إقرار القرار، قائلًا: «الوعي الإعلامي مهم، خاصة أن هناك بدائل للأسبارتام مثل الاستيفيا وغيرها متوفرة وهي افضل في الطعم وأقل في الأضرار، ولم يثبت أنها تنتج ضررًا».
وتابع: «طالما هناك كلام قوي وصياغة الكلام بلهجة شديدة، وأنه لن يتم نشر أي أخبار إلا بعد الاجتماع يوم 14 يوليو، فعلى الشركات الكبرى في المياه الغازية أن تعمل من الآن على بدائل أقل ضرراً».
وكانت الوكالة الدولية لبحوث السرطان والتابعة لمنظمة الصحة العالمية قد أكدت أنها بصدد الإعلان عن مادة الأسبرتام Aspartame مادة مسرطنة يجب التوقف عن استخدامها، في اجتماعات المنظمة في 14 يوليو المقبل.

وفي تعليقها على الحدث، أعربت الأستاذة ديمة بنت يحيى اليحيى، الأمين العام لمنظمة التعاون الرقمي، عن امتنانها لحكومة المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية على استضافة الجمعية العامة الرابعة، مؤكدةً أن هذا الاجتماع يشكل محطة محورية في مسيرة التعاون الرقمي بين الدول الأعضاء.
وقالت اليحيى: "نشهد اليوم تحولًا رقميًا غير مسبوق يفرض علينا جميعًا العمل المشترك لتعزيز الفرص الرقمية وتمكين المجتمعات من الاستفادة الكاملة من التقنيات الحديثة. إن اجتماعنا في الأردن اليوم يعكس التزامنا الجماعي بتطوير بيئة رقمية مزدهرة تشمل الجميع، وتسهم في خلق فرص اقتصادية مستدامة تواكب متطلبات المستقبل".
وأضافت اليحيى: "نسعى من خلال منظمة التعاون الرقمي إلى توحيد الجهود لتمكين الابتكار وريادة الأعمال الرقمية، وضمان الشمولية الرقمية للجميع، مع التركيز على دعم الشباب والمرأة في الاقتصاد الرقمي. هذه القمة تعد خطوة رئيسية نحو تحقيق رؤيتنا الطموحة في بناء اقتصاد رقمي مستدام يخدم جميع الدول الأعضاء والمجتمعات العالمية. وقد أسهمت رئاسة الأردن لمجلس المنظمة خلال عام 2024 في تعظيم أثر المنظمة وتعزيز علاقاتها الدولية مع المجتمع الدولي".
وتتزامن الجمعية العامة الرابعة لمنظمة التعاون الرقمي مع الجهود العالمية المكثفة لتعزيز الاقتصاد الرقمي، حيث تناقش القمة مجموعة من القضايا الهامة، من بينها تعزيز الابتكار الرقمي، وتمكين ريادة الأعمال الرقمية، وضمان الشمولية الرقمية للدول الأعضاء.
