بحث سمو الشيخ عبدالله بن زايد آل نهيان، وزير الخارجية، خلال اتصال هاتفي مع الدكتور فيفيان بالاكرشنان، وزير خارجية جمهورية سنغافورة، تطورات الأوضاع في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وسبل ضمان حماية المدنيين كافة.
وناقش سموه ووزير خارجية سنغافورة، الأوضاع الإنسانية التي يواجهها المدنيون وجهود تكثيف وتسريع وتيرة إيصال المساعدات الإغاثية والطبية لهم على نحو آمن ومستدام.
كما بحث الوزيران جهود المجتمع الدولي لخفض التصعيد واحتواء الأزمة الراهنة، وجدد سمو الشيخ عبدالله بن زايد آل نهيان، تأكيد أهمية تكثيف المساعي الإقليمية والعالمية المبذولة لإنهاء التطرف والتوتر والعنف المتصاعد في المنطقة، وضمان حماية أرواح المدنيين. واتفق الجانبان على استمرار التنسيق والتشاور تجاه الأزمة الراهنة.
